Okay so I guess you people have heard about this case in America? Im sure it happens everywhere but I picked up on this case accidently online.
In case you didn't hear about it. A 15 year old girl who was attending a highschool dance was raped/sexually assaulted outside the school by numerous guys (I think it was around 10) after drinking with them first. Now my question is a lot bystanders didn't do anything to help this girl not even calling the police, what would you do? Would you jump in yourself, call the police or do nothing? |

It depends, maybe she asked for it or maybe she is known for being in such situations. But I think I would call the police. _________________

You can't ask for it
Anyway since I'm a girl I doubt me jumping in would do anything but get my ass kicked as well. So I'd feel safer to just call the police. |

maybe the guys who rape the teenage girl where 'macho-men' and by passers did not want to risk losing their teeth _________________

Call the police is a must but remember by the time the police arrive the damage would have already been done.
I would suggest a two step approach.
Step 1 call the police
step 2 Try and mobilize other by standers and assess if u can intervene _________________ I dreamnt i was dreaming that am dreaming |

Call the police!
But like M.U.D says, maybe try and get people's attention!
THis case aside, i pity guys who resort to rape! That's SO LOW!
BUt it's vital for girls to know who they are around with these days...! I know it's hard but at a certain age, it wouldn't be advised to be with so many guys around you! |

They are afraid of hearing the word 'No' if they try to ask a girl politely, so they resort to 'forcing matters'
so lame and weak indeed. No wonder some judge from one of the magistrate courts in zambia recently advised men to go for prostitutes instead of little girls, she said that before sentencing some unlucky to 15 years in the pen with hard labour for defiling a 10 year old girl.

True, assessing the situation is vital!

Agreed, it's difficult to know who you can trust these days especially when there's alcohol. And when there are a bunch of guys isn't much that I can do even at my age if they decide they want some. So it's better to not put yourself in that kind of situation to begin with. |

There are two sides i see here.
1. the apparent dangers of alcohol abuse amongst youngsters. i mean what was she doing at 10 (pm i suppose or even am) getting hersefl drunk? She is too young for such a lifestyle
2. Failure of todays youth to keep their zips in place. Guys a woman is not a tool for sexual gratification. with consent and at the right time yes its ok but the situation put across shows how we have degenerated to a level beneath animals. How does a bunch of guys have fun in hurting in such a degrading manner a young girl. Even if she was morally week they had no right to rape let alone cheer along as it was done. To say the least USA is gone and so are the many who look to them for cultural values. I dont blame the young lady as she has a problem but i would shoot the bystanders and never call the police! _________________ A Truely People Guy. |
